About MMK “Lūsīši”

The Hunters’ and Anglers’ Club “Lūsīši” was founded twenty years ago, at a time when hunters were united not only by a passion for nature and tradition, but also by a desire to care for and preserve forests and wildlife populations for future generations. The first members were a small group of friends who came together to hunt, share experience and look after the hunting grounds.

Over the years the club grew – feeding sites were set up, hunting towers and salt licks were built, and clean-up events were organised in the forests. The club became not only a hunting community but also a social one, where knowledge is passed on to young hunters, legends of hunts gone by are told, and celebrations are shared.

Today the club takes pride in its long history and firm traditions. It brings together hunters of different generations who continue to uphold respect for nature and the spirit of responsible hunting, ensuring that this passion does not fade in the future.
